It was a special treat to be apart of Luisa and Joaquin’s special day!!! But when you have less than a week to decorate for it, it was quite exciting too!! Here are some of the highlights and party ideas for you!!

I used a few different things like 3 photo stands, gold and white tule, balloon strips, balloons, dark gold curtain panels I already had (got them free from a yard sale actually and gold sequin photography curtains, flowers and helium!!

I worked along side my friend Kerry, she decorated the tables and I worked on the backdrops and food table 🙂  I think everything came out so pretty!!

Wedding decorations were in Gold, White and pink!!

I decided to use three backdrops because the space we had to work with had a very large stage!! I used tule bunched together for the backdrops in the back!! Also fan shapes to give the atmosphere  a romantic flair, a sequin photo-backdrop panel on each side!! The tule was all bunched and Tied with gold pipe cleaners, purchased at the dollar store!! Yes I have a method to my madness… I’ll have a more detailed post later to show you how I made this backdrop!! 🙂 what do you think? Hope you like it!!

Impromptu fun photo booth!!

Quickly put together with

• tissue paper flowers sprayed with a Touch of gold, dollar store “love”  balloon,
• gold and white Balloons from Walmart and balloons with gold confetti inside
•  hand made sign made from board purchased at the dollar store and hung with gold ribbon from dollar store as well!!
• I also moved flowers from the food table after dinner and the 2 large helium filled ones that were also on the food table and a small garland of balloons 🙂

The best part was of this photo booth was the friends having fun taking pics in front of it!! Yay!! So that makes me happy!!

I also used two brown sheer curtains that I sprayed with gold spray paint!! Definitely alittle more more work but so satisfying 🙂 I was very pleased at how well it turned out!!

use this strip If you prefer to use you’re own balloons and glue dots or low setting glue gun..

I purchased my balloons online which included the gold confetti gold, white And pink!! I also purchased gold and pink balloons at Walmart. I purchased my big white 36 inch balloon at hobby lobby!! White balloons at the dollar store 🙂

I purchased my helium at hobby lobby, I found It was the cheapest priced!! If you are using over 25 balloons I recommend 2 tanks!! I found its better to use more balloons than you intend for a eye catching look!!

Gold, White and pink turned out to be beautiful colors, my friend did an amazing job on the tables!! She used the gold set listed here, white seat covers and gold sashes on the table with circular vases…
