If you’ve visited italy and also have gone to see The Devil Wears Prada 2, you’ll understand why Fashion, and Fabulousness is in store for both!! You will see why the movie is also a love letter to Italy & a tribute to Fashion in Milan!! In this post I’ll also revisit my own love for Italy and my trip there this year, which i was reminiscing about while I watched the Devil Wears Prada 2 with friends!! I’m going to try not to spoil the movie too much but this is your warning that there could be some spoilers so you might read this post after watching the movie!! hahaha

If you love fashion, even if you cant afford the designer and high end fashion prices of Prada and Louis Vuitton, you will love visiting Milan, Italy!! You can roam the streets and either window shop or venture inside the high end stores there!! so so beautiful!! loved seeing all the fashion.. and storefronts….Also the public transportation system is pretty easy to maneuver once you get the hang of it, which makes it a pretty easy city to get around in!!( just watch your pockets they say)
In the movie you get to see the views of Milan and Fashion week as well, and my favorite scene in the movie was Meryl Streep in the Galleria….

Talk about one of the most beautiful malls, featuring the most Gorgeous & intricate Architecture!! It was quite impressive looking up at the glass roof and the Architecture all around was stunning!! What do you think? Get ready to transport yourself to a world where fashion meets art!! The lively atmosphere also made me fall in love even more with the italian culture!! we visited during the holidays so it was exceptionally beautiful with all the lights and the amount of tourist abounded which I loved!! Before we left the city, the olympic activities set up was getting underway in the city square which was another treat!!

If you have watched the movie, you’ll remember that scenes like this were shown!! I was so delighted that i was in the very exact location as the cast enjoyed in Italy & we enjoyed the very same vibe!! Its truly delightful to enjoy the italian culture and architecture too!! I haven’t been able to attend fashion week but to see a runway scene on the big screen was pretty cool!! Do you love fashion?? I absolutely love fashion!!
On one of the interviews in my social media feeds this week, one was with Anne Hathaway, she said that one of the highlights for her and the crew was being in Milan Italy and also the other location for filming and being at fashion week!! I can totally see why, and you would too!! If you haven’t seen the movie, i think its pretty cute, there’s quite a storyline and different elements to the story, and of course you’ll see some fashion forward looks that made us laugh too!! hahaha
Conclusion
So just like like the movie, it reminded me that life is like a runway and we should embrace every moment. Italy also taught me that style and fashion can be so wonderful but also the culture that goes along with that is probably just as important!! I loved the warmth and friendliness experienced here too!!
