Wowza, and just like that…we went from fall to winter!! 40 degrees today but low will be in the 36 degrees!! Tonight Maine is expected to get first snow of the season!

Today  is crisp, overcast and snow is in the air and in the forecast!!  I believe central Maine is just getting a Dusting!

Officially winter begins December 21st , however here in Maine it seems like it starts way early because it does.. Parking bans usually start November 15th- and lasts til April 15th, so with that in mind are you ready for the snow season??

Do you have your Gloves, hats, scarves, winter coats, snow pants, winter boots, snow fun accessories like snow tubes, sleds, shovels? I love to shop our local stores and/or Mardens so we can try on everything but also online at Amazon.com for things I can’t find.. LL.Bean has some wonderful things too!!

Last year we shopped at kohl’s for our winter boots!! It is the worst to not be prepared, so hope you have or can have these items real soon, like tomorrow or before next Tuesday when more snow is expected!!

How about your vehicle? Snow tires/ all seasons, scrapers? Emergency kit?

Home? Here in Maine everything outside has to be put away or covered like..equipment, most lawn furniture, and ornamental items….is your snow blower in good working order or does it need repair? Generators? Has your  Heating system been serviced? Do you have your Wood for wood stove If you have one, probably should of some this months ago, but that’s ok…
