At our homestead We got another 8-10 inches of snow yesterday!! It was so lovely to watch it fall from our windows throughout the house!! Soooo love it!!
Most of Maine got lots of snow too!! Fun!
Every storm is alittle different and this storm produced sticky, fluffy beautiful snow!! Check out the beautiful scenery and our yummy treats we made on this day!!
As part of our snow day ritual, we love having a breakfast with either pancakes, French toast or waffles!
A snow day is when school is canceled, sometimes even businesses and government offices close early or closed for the day!! It’s a great day to be home! I love it!! My kids love it too!! My kids chose blueberry pancakes for this snow day!! Yummy!!
Another yummy treat I made was an apple tart! Made with a store bought crust and cut and pieced together to fold around the apples! I used apples, I peeled and sprinkled with lime juice and saved in the freezer!! I then sprinkled them with cinnamon and sugar. Baked at 450 for 20 mins then 20 mins longer, I drained the extra water produced after they cooked 🙂 And for alitle more sweetness we drizzled caramel sauce on top!! Yummy! 😋
And a day isn’t complete without a walk!! My kiddos and I love walking…well maybe I love taking them then they love it when they go… 🙂 😆
