We have made it to our final destination, Washington state!! Yay! As we traveled across the country to get here we went thru 12 states, hopefully I didnโt miss any but they included New Hampshire, Massachusets, New York, Pennsylvania,, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minneapolis, North Dakota, Montana & finally Idaho!!
What a joy it was to cross all those states!! Well. mostly, there was one day we drove what seemed like all day & I just wanted the movement to stop so I could sleep!! Itโs not fun trying to sleep in the back bedroom of a moving vehicle!! Hahahaha but we had an amazing time driving across the U.S. in our Rv ๐ we stopped at two excursions! Our excursions included Niagara Falls State Park & Theodore Roosevelt National Park!! We took advantage of Walmartโs policy that allows for boondocking ๐ staying in their parking lot!! It feels weird & awesome to be able to shower then walk out of your RV to shop!! Hahaha
Rv mishaps

So at one of our stops along the way my husband decided to change the steering stabilizer, It was rusty & the Rv seemed to go all over the place when a big rig went by!! Amazingly it made a huge difference!! So glad he did that!!
So after overhearing in Massachusets, this was the only other problem we had along the way! Weโre so glad Both things were not big deals! We are so relieved things have worked out thus far!!
Gas situation
So when we initially planned this roadtrip gas prices were reasonable, since then we all know prices have gone up in everything including gas!! So to our surprise prices were less expensive the further we moved from Maine!! It was 5.20 even at one point but in the middle of the U.S. prices are still under 5 dollars ๐ wonderful we thought!!
So here we are in washington & prices are much higher & even higher than they are in Maine!! Oh well!! We paid $5.399 the other day ๐
We are getting about 10mpg when we go about 55mph ๐ So as we travel along we will get there, we will just be alittle behind the average vehicle ๐ another thing we noticed is outside the city after Chicago there were fewer cars on the road ๐ could be gas prices who knows but it felt weird at times!!
So far weโve used about 421 Gallons of gas total, at a cost of $2054.97 which includes our trip to Rim Rock ๐ we are using an app called Fuelly to track our progress & fuel spending ๐ letโs hope gas prices drop alittle for us all ๐ย
Here are pics of some of the views we seen along the Way!! It was gorgeous!! I especially loved seeing the sunsets in Minnesota, those are pictured here!!!
