Celebrations of life or funeral services are always so sad to attend but sometimes when you’re involved in making food for it, it’s important to come up with a comforting mix!! It’s a Yakima tribal custom to serve Salmon, and others may include some of the deceased favorite foods, or foods that have meaning! One thing I think is important is picking foods that will be good for the family, you and those attending!

So whatever foods you choose, remember also to consider your needs and your budget! Also make sure to ask for help to prepare dishes and look for willing volunteers to help set up the venue!! Also sorry for your loss but especialla during these difficult times make sure to get plenty of rest and most importantly enjoy the time and comfort with family and friends!!
Thanks for visiting. Hope this has helped, I especially appreciated the meal combo pictured, everyone seemed to like it too! Best wishes!
